Acupuncture

If the thought of someone inserting needles into your body is preventing you from seeking a form of therapy that may be the best way to alleviate your health concerns, please be assured that acupuncture needles are in fact very fine, 0.25mm, and not anywhere near as formidable as you may have imagined. Additionally our skilled acupuncturists are highly trained in quick and smooth insertion.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

For many conditions herbal medicine will be recommended by your practitioner. Our primary method of dispensing herbal medicine is herbal granule formulas. Most clients find these the easiest and most convenient to take. You only need to add 1 or 2 teaspoons of the granule formula to 1/3 of a cup of boiling water and drink once or twice a day. Our practitioners are fully qualified in diagnosing and prescribing herbal formulas customised to treat your specific ailment. The benefit is the herbal medicine is taken daily so effectively you are receiving treatment every day.

Cupping

Within our acupuncture methods we often use cupping to relive muscular tension and clear accumulated toxins from the body. Cupping assists muscles to relax by promoting blood circulation to a region of injury or stagnant blood flow. Cupping can often leave marks so let your practitioner know if that is something you would not prefer.
